Equipment to borrow

The equipment we have that you can borrow is listed below. Before taking any equipment, please check the timetable below to make sure that the equipment is not already in use. All our equipment has security labels.

  • Memory stick (in an envelope) containing a talk by Brad Ashton, scriptwriter and comedy consultant – for use at a monthly meeting when a scheduled speaker is unexpectedly unavailable
  • Free-standing loudspeaker and amplifier, with power cable.
  • Gawarvan KB-700 USB document scanner - basiccally a camera on a flexible arm. This plugs into a USB port on a laptop and allows documents to be viewed via a projector and also would allow images of three dimensional objects to be viewed. Note that the manual is useless - all you need to do is plug it in and start the Windows camera app. It's probably Mac compatible as well.
