Organised on both a national and local basis, u3a is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full-time employment. Joining Settle District u3a will enable you to come together with others, make friends, enjoy learning new subjects, and participate in activities in a supportive environment. If you would like to join us please see the joining information page. You can even try before you join with two taster sessions and members can join a wide range of interest groups and will receive a monthly newsletter.
Forthcoming monthly meetings
Monthly meetings are held in St John's Church Hall, Settle. Doors open at 10 a.m. for a 10:30 start.
Wanted: group leader for Chair based exercise
A group leader is needed for the Chair based exercise group from July 2026 onwards. The group meets on Monday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 at the Catholic Church Hall. Training and instruction can be given. This is a really important group for our older u3a members which we would love to keep going.
